About project

Different structures working in the sphere of cross border cooperation including Euroregions are the most important institutions for development of Baltic Sea playing role of one of the main tools of sustainable development process of this region.

In North-west Russia and the Republic of Belarus only several CBC institutions are functioning and their human and financial capacity are insufficient. A necessity of drawing attention to such structures, increasing of professional competence of their employees for more effective problems solving in the sphere of cross border cooperation resulted in the preparation of BEN-EAST project.

The project promotes a strengthening of cross border cooperation structures in Russia and Belarus.
